All our Downwind kitesurf adventures include night accommodation with full breakfast to fill up with energy for the next day. EAT, SLEEP KITE, ... REPEAT ! It is important to have a great night sleep and a good breaky to start an active day under the sun and on the water and we put all our energy in choosing some of the best pousadas in the region where we will be travelling.
It is a pretty hard core organization to get accommodation for large groups everyday in different places and our experience tought us which one to choose and work with. So we selected a few place per day that we like to stay in and that we believe you will love ... However due to the popularity of these tours and the number of people riding this kitesurf road, we always have to juggle and try to put everyone in the same place (which can be a challenge) so you probably won't know straight away where we will stay but we will reveal a few weeks before departure where we will stay. We manage to put a list of accommodation we will stay in, per destination ... And here it is ...

Typical North-eastern Brazilian house (from the sixties) that we restored taking good care of preserving its original character and authenticity. Well located in the pousada (central) this house has nice ventilation and view over the garden and the lake.
Tree independents rooms (30m2 and high ceilings) with venetians windows taking profit of natural ventilation (no mosquitos), bathroom with hot water (solar panels) and great pressure.
To improve the quality of your stay with us, the white house (like every house) offer a fully equipped kitchen, dinning area, a living room and a large terrace with hammocks and lounge space.

Approximately 100 meters from the hotel are the beaches of Ronco do Mar and Munguba, as well as the lighthouse and square. The Hotel is only 200 meters from the center of town so that guests can leave their cars safely at the hotel parking lot and do everything around the hotel on foot.

The Pousada Maresia is situated in Atins, a quiet and charming fisherman’s village at the river mouth of the Preguiça river, in the extraordinary Lençois Maranhense National Park.
The beach of Atins is beautiful and unique and has the perfect conditions to practicing and learning kiteboarding. For all this reasons we just fall in love of this place and decided to build our Pousada, Restaurant and Kite School. The isolation, the difficult access and the lack of communications and transportations, guarantee the originality and genuinity of this unique place.
Our policy is to maintain this natural paradise intact, by preserving the Nature and the local traditions of this magical place.
The Pousada is located in the small center of the village, at 200 meters from the beach and just 400 meters from the Lençois Maranhense National Park.
We have Luxury Apartments for families and friends, Wooden Chalets, private bungalows for couples and the ocean view Penthouse for the more exigent clients.
The total area of our garden is over 5000 meters squared, with hundreds different plants and variety of flowers and fruits.
Thankful to this natural ambient and the way the rooms are built, we don’t see any necessity of using air conditioning.
